What you need to know about Blockchain

What you need to know about Blockchain
Category and version
The Blockchain system is divided into 3 main categories:
Public: Anyone has the right to read and write data on Blockchain. The process of validating transactions on this Blockchain requires thousands or tens of thousands of nodes. Therefore, to attack this Blockchain system is impossible because the cost is quite high. For example: Bitcoin, Ethereum ...
Private: User is only allowed to read data, not write because this belongs to an absolutely trusted third party. This organization may or may not allow users to read data under certain circumstances. The third party has the sole discretion to decide any changes on the Blockchain. Since this is a Private Blockchain, the transaction confirmation time is quite fast because only a small number of devices are required to validate the transaction. For example, Ripple is a Private Blockchain, this system allows 20% of the nodes to be fraudulent and only the remaining 80% to operate stably.
Permissioned: Also known as Consortium, a form of Private but adds a certain number of features, combining "belief" when participating in Public and "absolute trust" when participating in Private. For example: Banks or joint venture financial institutions will use Blockchain for themselves. I believe this site can give you more knowledge: Bitcoin exchange.

In the present, Blockchain is divided into 3 versions:
Blockchain 1.0 - Currency and Payment: The main application of this version is cryptocurrency: including currency conversion, remittances and the creation of digital payment systems. This is also the area most familiar to us that sometimes quite a lot of people mistake Bitcoin and Blockchain as one.
Blockchain 2.0 - Finance and Market: Application of financial and banking processing: to scale up Blockchain, bring in financial and market applications. Assets include stocks, checks, debt, title and anything related to an agreement or a contract.
Blockchain 3.0 - Designing and Monitoring Operations: Bringing Blockchain beyond financial borders, and into fields like education, government, health, and the arts. In these areas, there will be multiple types like physical, digital or human in nature.
Blockchain consensus algorithm
The consensus mechanism in Blockchain can be understood as the way that Byzantine generals can reach consensus to win together. The following are common types of consensus mechanisms:
Proof of Work: Common in Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Dogecoin, and most cryptocurrencies. Consumes quite a lot of electrical energy.
Proof of Stake: Popular in Decred, Peercoin and in the future, Ethereum and many other cryptocurrencies. More decentralized, less energy consuming and not easily intimidated.
Delegated Proof-of-Stake: Popular in Steemit, EOS, BitShares. Cheap transaction costs; extendable; high energy efficiency. However, there is still a bit of focus because this algorithm selects a trusted person to authorize.
Proof of Authority: This is a centralized model commonly seen in POA.Network, Ethereum Kovan testnet. High performance, good scalability.
Proof-of-Weight: Popular in Algorand, Filecoin. Customizable and good scalability. However, the development process will be a big challenge.
Byzantine Fault Tolerance: Popular in Hyperledger, Stellar, Dispatch, and Ripple. High productivity; low cost; extendable. However, it is still not completely reliable. This algorithm has 2 versions:
Practical Byzantine Fault Tolerance (Anti-fraud consensus / Byzantine General surrounded Blockchain in practice)
Federated Byzantine Agreement (Byzantine Alliance by Consensus)
Directed Acyclic Graphs (Topological Algorithm): Commonly found in Iota (Tangle technology), Hashgraph, Raiblocks / Nano (Block-lattice technology), is a competitor of Blockchain.
Why is Blockchain supported?
The 3 main properties of Blockchain technology that have helped it to achieve a widespread welcome are:
Decentralized (decentralized)
transparent
Invariant
Decentralization
Before Bitcoin and Blockchain came along, we were used to centralized services. Specifically, you have a centralized entity that stores all of the data, and you must interact with this entity to retrieve the requested information.
Another example of a centralized system is banking. They store all your money, and the only way you can use it is through the bank.
The traditional client-server model is a good example of centralization:
What is Blockchain technology?
When you go to Google to search for something, you will send a query to the server and the results will return to you with the relevant information. It's also the simple client-server model.
Although centralized systems have been so familiar to us for many years, they do have some flaws:

Peercoin v0.9 Released!

We are pleased to announce that after many hard months of work, Peercoin v0.9 (Codename Strider) is complete and a hard fork is planned for Monday, June 8th, 2020 at 12:00:00 UTC. You must upgrade your wallet client before then!

Changelog:

Peercoin release v0.9.0
  • RFC-0019: PoW Block Spacing
  • RFC-0018: PoS Rewards Adjustment
  • RFC-0017: Limit Effective Coinage to One Year
  • RFC-0015: Reduce Time Drift
  • allow staking=0 command to disable minting
  • ability to filter out mint transactions in the QT wallet

Summary

While Peercoin v0.8 (Mantis) was largely about modernizing the codebase and improving the technical capabilities of the reference node software, the v0.9 (Strider) development cycle was about the economics of the Peercoin cryptocurrrency.
Both the PoW and PoS aspects of the network have been modified. Proof-of-Work changes are rather minimal; in summary target block spacing has been set to 60 minutes, rather than having dynamic PoW block spacing target. Block spacing is currently approximately 60 minutes anyway, so this may not sound like a big change, but it stops some PoW pools from trying to game the system. By making PoW more predictable, RFC-0019 brings inflationary stability to the overall system.
That change is minor when compared to the modification of the Proof-of-Stake side of the system. Some of you may have been following the discussion on RFC-0011, which was ongoing for over a year, and you may have noticed that RFC-0011 was rejected about two weeks ago and replaced with RFC-0018.
In my personal opinion, RFC-0011 is a great idea, probably the best idea thrown around here in the last couple of years, but ultimately it's too complex and we could not get consensus about it. The gist of both RFC-0011 and RFC-0018 is that the Peercoin money supply inflates at a rate of 1% on paper, but we are nowhere near that in practice.
In the old system, in order to have PoS inflation at 1%, a full 100% of all peercoins would have to start minting and solving blocks. This is simply impossible. In reality, over the last couple years Peercoin's PoS inflation has only been between 0.10% and 0.20%, which is far from the "promised" annual 1%. Due to the very rough history of this beautiful blockchain, namely the closure of btc-e, dozens of exchange hacks and closures, as well as a couple of de-listings, we are in a situation today where nearly half of the monetary supply has not been moved for over two years and we can consider those coins lost for all intents and purposes.
The basic principle of RFC-0011 was the following: the Peercoin network promises a steady inflation of 1% on monetary supply, and if you want a cut of it: mint. In essence, if only 20% of all peercoins are minting, the effective reward for active minters would be closer to 5% per year. However, the problem with this scheme is that minters would try to game the system and only mint when minting participation is low. Thus, we came up with RFC-0018, which yields similar results, but keeps the reward calculation simple and prevents gaming of the algorithm. You can read more about the change here.
Long story short, the network will reward active minters more, while keeping the overall inflation around 1%.
Accompanied with an expected inflation drop from increasing PoW hashrate, overall monetary inflation will largely remain unchanged, and will be more stable.
Other changes are minor and do not change the behavior of the network. RFC-0017 is just a consequence of RFC-11, and it stops minters from going offline for longer than a year and coming back to mint. We did not see this as fair, so the coinage counter is reset after a year now. Limiting coinage disincentivizes extremely long term periodic minting, thereby making continuous minting more attractive.

Failure, Chaos, & Bad Decisions: Why Dash's Horrible 2019 Means It Won't Survive 2020

I. Failure
In 2019, LATAM scammers ripped off Dash's treasury for 1000s of coins while providiing fake adoption statistics and embezzling money intended to save poor starving Venezuelan babies.
In 2019, Dash continued its free fall in marketcap rank, plunging to 27 from a high of 3. Once 5 times Monero's marketcap, Dash is by global free market consensus now valued at less than 50% of Monero, and may soon succumb to DogeCoin, a joke currency based on a dead 2013 meme. Measrued against the standard for altcoins, the once-hopeful 2 ETH for 1 Dash rate has surrendered unconditionally to Dash-breaking bearwhales - 1 Dash is worth less than 1/3 of an ETH now.
In 2019, Dash shills tried changing the subject from the "existential crisis" caused by DCG's failed Evolution Roadmap to other coins' cryptowinter vacations or fake & gamed metrics like tx/day, ignoring the obvious fact that Dash's singularly weak fundamentals and price collapsed in terms of Bitcoin, gold, fiat, and all other Top 25 altcoins.
In 2019, Dash shamefully abandoned tried-and-true Nakamoto Consensus with a cheap, gimmicky "Chainlocks" version of Peercoin's good old-fashioned checkpoints.
In 2019, Dash Core's chosen PR firm, Shift Communications, was a huge disappointment as it failed to engage the community, mitigate public relations disasters like MooCowMoo, or direct attention to EvoNet Platform's Open House. Dash Core also suffered the humiliation of being forced to de-endorse their own Shift Communication proposal, asking MNOs to vote down yet another money-wasting, bloated-corporation-imitating Core brainchild.
In 2019, Dash's identity as "Shitcoin of the year" was confirmed after being called out as a scam by the Crypto Vigilante Group due to the instamine, centralized mangement+control, and slow+broken privacy.
In 2019, Dash's support from Jeff Berwick's Dollar Vigilante Group turned very bearish to to their increased awareness of Dash's instamine and broken privacy.
In 2019, Dash was listed by Coinbase, raising hopes the Number might Go Up. But nobody actually cared about Dash on Coinbase, so nothing happened afterwards to change the market's opinion that Dash is worth less than a cold sack of puke.
In 2019, Dash's PrivateSend feature-cum-liability was broken by crypto research specialist u/Flenst, just as many exchanges were delisting Dash beause of its prior marketing under the old Darkcoin brand.
II Chaos
In 2019, every week wealthy Masternode owners dumped their 7200 "free" Dash, without returning anything for it to Dash's primary buyers. As the compounded Instamine Masternode poopulation grew, the market's ability to bear that overhead simply imploded.
In 2019, Dash went from weak to weaker as falling prices and severe reputation damage thanks to Macrochip & Moocowmoo resulted in budget shortfalls for Core Group Inc, intensifing toxic conflict over who must suffer additional austerity measures. Meanwhile Dash's competitors had great years and their devs wrote AND SHIPPED amazing code, such as Cardano releasing its (absolute madhouse of an) Incentivized Shelley Staking Testnet, Monero putting RandomX into production, and Decred adding state-of-the-art CoinShuffle++.
In 2019, DASH became a nightmare of change discussion and negativity. Instead of an Evolution product demo at the Open House, CEO Ryan Taylor plopped out a FUD turd and then proceded to roll around in it while all 15 people watching recoiled in horror and disgust. Markets hate uncertainty, so Dash Core's confusing new mission of endless scope creep, bikeshedding, and self re-invention only exacerbated existing negative investor sentiment.
III Bad Decisions
In 2019, Dash's increasinly desperate and centralized management+control (AKA spork-key hodler) entity, DCG, having lost hope in ever being competitive with successfull PoW-backed hard money cryptoassets like BTC/LTC/XMR, annouced a shocking, narrative-abandoning pivot to exploring Proof Of Stake options (as well as stripping X11 miners of their fair share of coinbase asset allocation).
In 2019, Dash's CEO ruined the years-overdue Evolution Open House by inciting a massive, controversial discussion after unilaterally declaring Dash is "overpaying" for Nakamoto Consensus PoW security.
In 2019, Dash's long-awaited Evolution release Open House featured no actual product demo as Liz's embarrassingly cringe EvoNet slideshow openly annouced Evolution has devolved into a Zero-Calorie Nothingburger with Vaporware Fries and Lite Ketchup.
In 2019, Dash's established coinbase reward allocation and PoW/PoSe consensus mechanism degenerated into a discussion of which Calvinhash Protocol[1] would fix Dash's massive technical and cultural debt problems, thereby making its Number Go Up.
[1] Calvinhash is a protocol invented by Evan at Dash Labs during an especially intense and lavishly provisioned Psytrance party "research" experience/experiment. Calvinhash has no rules; the miners, stakers, and Instamined DCG Masternodes make up their own rules as they go along, ensureing no Calvinhash proof-of-work, block size limit, consensus mechanism, or block reward is like another.

Instant Crypto Exchange Flyp.me Adds USD Coin (USDC) Stablecoin Cryptocurrency

We've done it again and added another major addition to our already stacked digital asset offerings! USD Coin (USDC), a Coinbase-developed stablecoin with big backing from some of the crypto world’s biggest names, is now tradable on Flyp.me.
This addition gives Flyp.me users a major leg up in the ever-important quest for digital asset liquidity and mobility. Want to send your stablecoin balance between Flyp.me and Coinbase? No problem! How about sending USDC to Binance through Flyp.me? Easy.
Best of all, Flyp.me does not require an account to trade USDC. The process for grabbing some USDC with Flyp.me couldn’t be easier.
At no point do you enter your private keys, or give any information other than your public wallet address. So, what makes the USDC stablecoin special compared to other stable cryptocurrencies out there like Tether (USDT)? Here is a quick overview of USDC stablecoin and why this one is truly a game-changer for current and future Flyp.me traders.
USDC — Not Your Average Stablecoin
Of all the brand names in the cryptocurrency industry, few are as well known — or completely trusted — as Coinbase is. Yes, Coinbase is one of Flyp.me’s direct competitors, but you know what? Credit goes where credit is due.
Coinbase partnered with Circle to bring about USD Coin, 1:1 USD-backed cryptocurrency that stays true to its $1 = 1 USDC value. How does that work? Essentially, Coinbase keeps $1 in the bank for every 1 USDC in circulation, tying each coin to real — not imaginary or inflated — financial value.
Sure, there are other stablecoins out there, but few of them are audited, and even fewer come with the guarantee that only a big name like Coinbase can provide. USDC provides some welcome relief by being, well, stable.
USDC Stablecoin Is Powered by Ethereum
Another major plus USDC has going is it’s powered by Ethereum, our favorite decentralized ledger for all things DeFi (decentralized finance). As the undisputed hub of the emerging DeFi economy, Ethereum has nearly $1 billion in value locked into the blockchain.
Being Ethereum-based makes the ERC-20 standard USDC coin easily transferable between you and other crypto users, or from your wallet to exchanges. This ease of transfer is especially handy when you need to make a move quickly — unlike the Bitcoin blockchain, Ethereum tends to be quicker.
If you’re ready to trade some USDC cryptocurrency without the hassle of creating an account, then head over to Flyp.me and get started now!
About Flyp.me

Attention: Bitmain is currently performing a large scam

Bitmain has just announced a new mining machine, the antminer x3, that is designed to mine cryptonight algorithm cryptocurrencies, such as Monero. It is extremely efficient and profitable. A vega 56 video card has on average 1850 h/s at 190wh power usage. The x3 has 220000 h/s (118x stronger) at 550w power usage. It is then 41.08x more efficient.
As can be seen, this is a money machine. Costing $12,000 to have it shipped 15-31 may would net you at today's difficult over $5.3k per month.
Enter the most important part. Seems good to be true, right? It is. This machine is being released to the public because information that asics were being developed/already used leaked to monero developers, and naturally they worked on implementing a fix for that, in order to keep Monero's anti-asic and centralization nature. This month along with other things, code will be pushed to fix this issue and make asics not functional for monero. Every 6 month network upgrade will also have small tweaks in the algorithm to ensure no asic is ever developed or at least profitable to pull.
Bitmain is only selling these machines because they knew monero was adding this feature on the upcoming fork. They then rushed to sell the machines they were using to people who don't know about this.
On their site;
2. There are financial risks associated with mining cryptocurrencies. These risks can be related to changes in exchange rate of the cryptocurrency or to changes in the algorithm that is used to mine the cryptocurrency. Please deliberate well before making a purchase because we will not accept any requests for refund for orders of this batch.
In other words: if a network upgrade for cryptonight coins ever happen (it will happen), we can't be responsible for this. You're on your own and don't dare requesting a refund, we never issue these (quick off-topic: I personally know this very well because bitmain didn't refund me on my s7s even when I didn't receive the miners)
The shipping date is 2 months after the fork. These machines will be completely and absolutely useless. The biggest cryptonight coin will already have forked. Other cryptonight coins already signaled they will also push fix to this issue. Even if one or two CN coins don't implement anti-asic stance, you'll be left with shitcoins to mine. Imagine buying SHA256 asic for bitcoin only to have it available to mine peercoin only by the time you receive them.
tl,dr: Don't buy bitmain's x3. They asic mined monero and now that this will not be possible anymore they want to dump their machines on you.

I started crypto exactly 1 year ago, this is how I feel now

Well, I actually first heard about Bitcoin in the news, in May 2017. Companies were getting hacked and needed to pay with Bitcoin in order to get all their data back. This was all over the news. So I started doing some searches, not research, because I found a site where I could pay with fiat and bought literally random coins. I bought all the cheap ones thinking they would one day reach the same level as BTC. I bought Myriad, Reddcoin, Doge, Gulden, Peercoin, Feathercoin, ArtByte, Stratis, Waves, … I had no idea what I was doing. Chased some silly pumps. I also bought some Litecoin, which turned out really good. Litecoin was about $25 back in May-June. On May 31, 2017 total marketcap was $80B.
I started to learn about different exchanges (Bittrex) and bought the shilled coins on Bitcointalk; Digibyte, Siacoin, ... Then things started to go down, some coins were crashing and I saw my numbers going in red, every single one of them expect Litecoin. Thought about selling but didn’t. Looking back at this “crash”, it is a joke compared to what is happening now (February-June 2018).
I also experienced the China FUD. Literally thought crypto was dead back in November 2017. Never seen so much FUD before on Reddit. Chinese exchanges had to close, volume was dropping, everyone was selling. Scary. Looking back at it now, this was a joke as well, as FUD started to clear and 2-3 days later, the market was already recovering and going up even more. We all know what happened in mid-December 2017 and some of us were lucky enough to cash out at the right moment, some people HODL. Before this, these were also the days were we didn’t get as much positive news as we do now. Watch this sub and show me negative FUD posts.
I sold all of my shit and started over in December, started doing actual research (not going to name the coins here because of shilling) and I have now invested in coins I really believe in. Some of them are up, some are not but that’s because the market is still down. The one I believe most in is 50% down and sure, it hurts a little bit to see my money disappear haha but I have good faith that this will bring me a lot of fortune in the future.
The crash right now doesn’t really affect me. I’m buying more batches whenever I can and sure, they can still go down and I might have invested a little more than I can afford to lose, but I am seeing this as a long term. Long term isn’t a year, it’s 5-10 years and it’s money I don’t need right now. You can sell now, and buy back in later if it drops more, or you can HODL and not care about this for a few months or years. We will continue to see these crashes, probably even worse than this one and that’s why it’s important to zoom out. Look back a year ago, look back 2-3 years ago ;-)

Bitcoin mining is a bit more than just number crunching

The charming cryptocurrency and the many ideas that surface in the minds of the observers typically surround couple of apparent concerns - how does it enter being and what about its flow? The response, nevertheless, is uncomplicated. Bitcoins need to be mined, in order to make the cryptocurrency exist in the Bitcoin market. The mystical developer of Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto, imagined a method to exchange the important cryptocurrencies online, by getting rid of the need for any central organization. For Bitcoins, there's an alternative method to hold the essential records of the deal history of the whole blood circulation, and all this is handled through a decentralized way.
The journal that helps with the procedure is called the "blockchain". The essence of this journal may need lots of newsprint for appearing frequently at all popular Bitcoin news. Blockchain broadens every minute, existing on the makers associated with the big Bitcoin network. Individuals might question the credibility, even credibility, of these deals and their recordings into Blockchain. This too is nevertheless warranted, through the procedure of Bitcoin mining. Mining allows production of brand-new Bitcoin and assembling deals to the journal. Mining basically involves fixing of complex mathematical estimations, and the miners utilize enormous computing power to resolve it. The private or 'swimming pool' that resolves the puzzle, positions the subsequent block and wins a benefit too. And, how mining can prevent double-spending? Practically every 10 minutes, impressive deals are mined into a block. So, any disparity or illegitimacy is entirely dismissed.
For Bitcoins, mining is not mentioned in a conventional sense of the term. Bitcoins are mined by using cryptography. A hash function described as "double SHA-256" is used. However how tough is it to mine Bitcoins? This can be another inquiry. This depends a lot on the effort and computing power being used into mining. Another element worth pointing out is the software application procedure. For each 2016 blocks, problem involved in mining of Bitcoins is changed by itself just to keep the procedure. In turn, the rate of block generation is kept constant. A Bitcoin problem chart is an ideal procedure to show the mining trouble in time. The trouble level changes itself to increase or down in a straight proportional way, depending upon the computational power, whether it's being sustained or removed. As the variety of miners increase, portion of revenues been worthy of by the individuals decrease, everybody winds up with smaller sized pieces of the revenues.
Having private economies and neighborhoods, cryptocurrencies like Dogecoin, Namecoin or Peercoin, are called Altcoins. You can easily track your different cryptocurrency by using reputable portfolio trackers. These are options to Bitcoin. Practically like Bitcoins, these 'cousins' do have a substantial fan-following and enthusiasts who are eager to take a deep plunge into the big ocean and start to mine it. Algorithms used for Altcoin mining are either SHA-256 or Scrypt. Numerous other ingenious algorithms exist too. Alleviate, price and simpleness can render it possible to mine Altcoins on a PC or by using unique mining software application. Altcoins are a bit 'down to earth' compared to Bitcoins, yet changing them into huge dollars is a little challenging. Cryptocurrency enthusiasts can simply hope, if a few of them might witness the comparable huge popularity!

The TAU Coin Concept Which is Based on Proof of Transaction as a New Consensus Algorithm

Recently, perhaps crypto currency watchers often hear about the ideas of Proof of Work and Proof of Stake, as well as the definition of mining, or the process of how new digital currencies are released through networks.
Proof of Work
As considered the first consensus algorithm, Proof of Work (PoW) is defined as a protocol that has the main purpose of preventing cyber attacks such as distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks, which aim to use up computer system resources by sending fake requests.
The concept of Proof of work already existed even before bitcoin, but Satoshi Nakamoto applied this technique to - we still don't know who Nakamoto really is - his digital currency that revolutionized traditional transaction methods.
In fact, the idea of the PoW was originally published by Cynthia Dwork and Moni Naor in 1993, but the term "Proof-of-Work" was created by Markus Jakobsson and Ari Juels in a document published in 1999.
However, taking into account the date it was made, POW is probably the biggest idea behind Nakamoto's Bitcoin white paper - published in 2008 - because it allows consensus without trust and distribution.
Proof-of-Work which is performed through mining and used by Bitcoin, Litecoin and Dogecoin among others. The miner is incentivized because it receives a reward for solving the puzzle that verifies the transaction. The quantity and quality of the computer determine the mining power and consequently the profit you can make. PoW reaches consensus because the miner has to (literally) prove the verification through computational labor, and at least 51% of the miner-network has to agree with the verification.
Proof of Stake
Proof of Stake (PoS) as the second consensus algorithm, is another way to validate transactions based on distributed consensus, and to achieve distributed consensus. This is still an algorithm, and the goal is the same as proof-of-work, but the process for achieving goals is very different.
The idea of proof-of-work was first proposed at the BitCointalk forum in 2011, but the first digital currency to use this method was Peercoin in 2012, along with ShadowCash, Nxt, BlackCoin, NuShares / NuBits, Qora, and Nav Coin.
Unlike proof-of-work, where the algorithm rewards miners who solve mathematical equations with the aim of validating transactions and creating new blocks, with proof-of-stake, the creator of the new block is chosen in a deterministic way, depending on wealth, or defined as well as a bet. There are no block rewards.
This PoS selects a validator (comparable to a miner) based on the number of coins it deposits. Since one validator verifies the transaction, the miner doesn’t need to waste as much energy and hardware as Proof-of-Work – where each miner tries to solve the same transaction.
In addition, all digital currencies were made beforehand and the numbers never changed. This means, in the PoS system, there are no block rewards. So, the miners take transaction fees.
However, the rich get richer as they have higher chances at the selection procedure, meaning higher chances to receive the reward. This is why, in fact, in this PoS system, miners are referred to as counterfeiters. PoS is implemented by Peercoin, Decred, and Ethereum. This verification scheme reaches consensus because the validator-network checks the reviews as well. The validator won’t verify fraudulent transactions because it will lose more money (the deposit) than it can earn (the reward).
TAU Coin Concept on Proof of Transaction
Cited from http://networkcultures.org/longform/2018/08/25/proof-of-transaction-the-materiality-of-cryptocurrency/ ,
Proof-of-Transaction is defined as "a physical object that absorbs the process of transferring value from one space or entity to another. It captures the orders of magnitude of the exchange (from technology to phenomena) and narrates these realities through interobjective relations". Further, it is explained that transaction contains a meaning of ‘an agreement’ which involves an exchange or interaction between two entities. While other word that is ‘proof’ shall be referred to ‘evidence’, the witness of an event.
The proposal of TAU is an original consensus mechanism POT. It uses on-chain historical accumulated transactions to determine who can propose a new block. Block generation in TAU is still called mining like Bitcoin, but block reward only comes in the form of transaction fee. TAU is a single utility chain that funds wiring is the only thing supported; therefore, transaction fee is the only income for miners. TAU block structure is designed to support mobile phone mining for decentralization. Total 10 billions coins are generated in the genesis block, while the goal is for each individual to have a full TAU. For every address, the probability of generating a new block is exactly in linear proportion to its historical transaction. This sum is called mining power, an analogue to hash power in Bitcoin.

The BTC shock retreated yesterday to date and is currently hovering around $10,200. In the past 24 hours, the net outflow of BTC funds exceeded $150 million. Compared with last week, the outflow level of market funds increased again. In recent days, BTC has continued to oscillate downward, but the overall fluctuation range is not large. The medium-term trend is still unclear. Before that, there was little space above BTC, and it is expected that in the short term, the adjustment will still be dominated by shocks. Investors can consider investing part of their funds in other mainstream currencies or even in the Shanzhai currency market. If there is a large scale of callback in the follow-up, it may bring a good opportunity to build warehouses. The upper resistance level pays attention to $10,800, while the lower support level continues to pay attention to the $10,000 level. Operational aspects, the spot continues to hold, low replenishment strategy unchanged, under $10,000 can be considered gradually deployed futures leverage.

About cryptocurrency

A cryptocurrency (or crypto currency) is a digital asset designed to work as a medium of exchange that uses strong cryptography to secure financial transactions, control the creation of additional units, and verify the transfer of assets.[1][2][3] Cryptocurrencies use decentralized control as opposed to centralized digital currency and central banking systems.[4]
The decentralized control of each cryptocurrency works through distributed ledger technology, typically a blockchain, that serves as a public financial transaction database.[5]
Bitcoin, first released as open-source software in 2009, is generally considered the first decentralized cryptocurrency.[6] Since the release of bitcoin, over 4,000 altcoins (alternative variants of bitcoin, or other cryptocurrencies) have been created.
In 1983, the American cryptographer David Chaum conceived an anonymous cryptographic electronic money called ecash.[7][8] Later, in 1995, he implemented it through Digicash,[9] an early form of cryptographic electronic payments which required user software in order to withdraw notes from a bank and designate specific encrypted keys before it can be sent to a recipient. This allowed the digital currency to be untraceable by the issuing bank, the government, or any third party.
In 1996, the NSA published a paper entitled How to Make a Mint: the Cryptography of Anonymous Electronic Cash, describing a Cryptocurrency system first publishing it in a MIT mailing list[10] and later in 1997, in The American Law Review (Vol. 46, Issue 4).[11]
In 1998, Wei Dai published a description of "b-money", characterized as an anonymous, distributed electronic cash system.[12] Shortly thereafter, Nick Szabo described bit gold.[13] Like bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies that would follow it, bit gold (not to be confused with the later gold-based exchange, BitGold) was described as an electronic currency system which required users to complete a proof of work function with solutions being cryptographically put together and published. A currency system based on a reusable proof of work was later created by Hal Finney who followed the work of Dai and Szabo.[citation needed]
The first decentralized cryptocurrency, bitcoin, was created in 2009 by pseudonymous developer Satoshi Nakamoto. It used SHA-256, a cryptographic hash function, as its proof-of-work scheme.[14][15] In April 2011, Namecoin was created as an attempt at forming a decentralized DNS, which would make internet censorship very difficult. Soon after, in October 2011, Litecoin was released. It was the first successful cryptocurrency to use scrypt as its hash function instead of SHA-256. Another notable cryptocurrency, Peercoin was the first to use a proof-of-work/proof-of-stake hybrid.[16]
On 6 August 2014, the UK announced its Treasury had been commissioned to do a study of cryptocurrencies, and what role, if any, they can play in the UK economy. The study was also to report on whether regulation should be considered.

After trading to a new monthly low at $7,670, bitcoin started an upside correction against the US Dollar. The BTC/USD pair broke the $8,000 resistance level to start the recent recovery. Moreover, there was a close above the $8,000 level and the 100 hourly simple moving average. As a result, the price climbed above the $8,150 and $8,200 resistance levels.
More importantly, yesterday’s highlighted major bearish trend line was breached with resistance near $8,080 on the hourly chart of the BTC/USD pair. The pair gained strength above $8,300 and surpassed $8,400. It even spiked above the $8,500 level and traded to a new weekly high at $8,525. At the moment, it seems like the price is facing resistance near the $8,500 level.
It might correct lower towards the $8,350 or $8,320 support. Moreover, the 23.6% Fib retracement level of the recent wave from the $7,670 low to $8,525 high is near $8,323 to provide support. If the price fails to stay above $8,300, it could correct lower towards the key $8,050 and $8,000 support levels. Besides, the 50% Fib retracement level of the recent wave from the $7,670 low to $8,525 high could provide support near $8,100.

Recently, there was a minor upside correction in bitcoin above the $8,000 level against the US Dollar. The BTC/USD pair even climbed above the $8,200 resistance. Finally, the price spiked towards $8,400, but it failed to gain momentum. Moreover, there was no proper close above $8,200 and the 100 hourly simple moving average. As a result, the price started a fresh decline below the $8,000 support.
It even broke the $7,700 level and traded to a new monthly low at $7,661. Besides, the current price action is bearish, with an immediate resistance near the $7,900 level. Additionally, 50% Fib retracement level of the recent decline from the $8,157 high to $7,661 low is also near the $7,900 level. The main resistance on the upside is near the $8,000 and $8,100 levels. More importantly, there is a key bearish trend line forming with resistance near $8,050 on the hourly chart of the BTC/USD pair.
An intermediate resistance is near the $8,040 level, plus the 76.4% Fib retracement level of the recent decline from the $8,157 high to $7,661 low. Therefore, an upside break above the $8,000 and $8,100 levels is must for a decent recovery in bitcoin. The next key resistance is near the $8,400 level.

Blackcoin ROLL CALL!

Hey all,
Its been a while and I have been neglecting the community here on reddit. A lot of things are new, I'll try to keep it as brief as possible.

"My client is saying something about an 'IBO' wtf is this shit? Is Blackcoin DOOMED?!"
Well, fear you not. Blackcoin is still going forward, but as Blackcoin Lore. The IBO message is relating to rat4's new project of which he is working towards. I wish him all the best on that. The #1 question that I get though, "Should I burn my BLK?" I will give a suggestion that I hope others will find fair.
Blacknet is experimental, not yet released, not yet proven, so if you are willing to risk some of your BLK to be a part of something new, then go do so. Should you expect that it gets released? To a degree, yes. Rat4 always has done well. For me personally, I hadn't burnt my BLK as I am skeptical on the distribution and community upon release. However, I do not want to deter anyone from not participating if they can afford the risks associated with new technology.

"What in the fak is going on with development? Is Blackcoin DOOMED!?"
Janko departed to work on some exclusive blockchain projects of which he had told me about. I'm excited for him and again, wish him all the best. He handed me the title of Lore to continue. Now at the time, I hadn't expected rat4 to also call it off. Lateminer and myself have taken up development under "Lore".

"What does that mean for the original wallet? Is Blackcoin DOOMED!?"
No, not at all. So this maybe a little confusing but bear with me. Rat4's client will continue as Blackcoin Lore. This is the same as how Bitcoin Core treated Bitcoin upon Satoshi's departure. There will be two identities of Blackcoin. The protocol, and the software. The protocol always and will always belong to you, the community. That will always be shaped in the way that holders of BLK will believe is best for BLK. However Lore will be under direction of us to maintain consistency.

To further confuse things, and I'm sorry, Lore previously meant Blackcoin stuff on later Bitcoin. This hasn't been a direction that I had agreed with. Sure the core is stable to that of Bitcoin, but you also share the vulnerabilities. I really do believe that the direction is going forward with rat4's old client and having BLK adapt to it's own challenges. Therefore, Lore is becoming Blackcoin "More" and rat4's client is becoming "Blackcoin Lore". Both of which will be developed by the same team. Consider More as a temporary bridge while Lore goes forward as I understand that there are some serious updates that BLK needs that More provides right now.

"I keep up to date and have known about this for the past month or so! What is really going on?"
Well, I and others need to eat and build ourselves before we can work on projects such as BLK, especially taking over development which is massive. Lateminer has been working every evening on fixing up More while I had to take a break on updating rat4's client to be more 'modern' and with it. The project shift couldn't of come at a worse time for myself as I have been trying to launch a product for my business and couldn't delegate more time than I'd like to. But, delegating time I am.
So updates on this:- Lateminer is pushing a new Blackcoin More release this week.- The new Blackcoin Lore wallet, continuation of the old wallet, has a massive new build and RPC API overhaul.- The RPC API isn't complete yet, I just need to finish it off, then we should expect a new release of BLK Lore.
Things are still happening. But thats just development, you can't focus on development and not anything else.

"Is Blackcoin going to be delisted from X? Is Blackcoin DOOMED!?"
No, likely not. We have strong ties to the best leaders in the industry of which we are currently on.

"Why no Binance?"
Well though I do see that Binance is vastly popular, we have to consider legalities of platforms. Binance doesn't have a jurisdiction of which they are lawful to. We don't know where their servers are at. Their employees are mostly private. Those raise red flags to me. That doesn't mean that I am against it. I wouldn't mind putting in a request however, I'm not ready to stick to a strict weekly update that they require until my company's project is launched and new Lore and More is out. At that point, we will update them weekly as well as provide them all information that they require on a regular basis of which we do for every other service of which we are on.

"But the ranking of BLK! WTF!?"
Yeah, I get that. Honestly, I'm not surprised. BLK really nose dived after China called it quits on crypto. 80% of our volume was there and we had the strongest ties with that community. It was devastating and heart breaking to see it collapse almost overnight. The QQ group and Wechat group is still around, still have some die hards. I'm not surprised it had happened.

"We have not heard from you where had you been!?"
Well, I had wanted to walk away from BLK a few times. Usually if there is a team taking care of the project, I feel as if I can focus more on my company. Yet, hadn't left. Mostly everyone else left, I'm still here. I have been keeping the twitter and other things going and as well as established the Proof of Stake Alliance with other projects such as PIVX, Peercoin, Komodo, Navcoin, BitBay, Particle, Phore etc. and we all keep regularly in touch almost every day.

"So what does the Proof of Stake Alliance do?"
Well, all the devs can pool resources together to make the core technology even more sound. While we believe that 3.0 is safe and doesn't have any serious flaws, we do want to improve on it. We are working on a sort of PoS 3.1 which will be basically a total overhaul of the structure of PoS instead of actually changing the security of it.

"PoS 3.1??! Sounds exciting!"
Yes, we originally were running with the name of PoS 4.0 but, since it isn't a security upgrade, but still massive, we decided not to call it that unless there actually is a reason to update the security to ensure that the coin is protected.

"I have a question!"
Leave it below.

I really don't want to let anyone down, or left feeling insecure with their choice on Blackcoin. Its been a rough few months, but we will all pull through.

BTC/Bitcoin: The 2nd Global Digital Mining Summit will be held in Frankfurt, Germany from October 8th to 10th.

Yesterday to this day, the BTC has been shaking slightly and is still hovering around $10,000. In the past 24 hours, the net inflows of BTC funds approached 30 million US dollars. Compared with the previous cycle, the market inflows increased rapidly. Yesterday, BTC failed to break the $10,000 threshold, but the daily average turned downward. In the short term, the market is still short-term dominant. In the medium-term trend, we still tend to be bullish, but before BTC is completely out of the triangle, we should be alert to the risk of repeated dishwashing by the main force. The upper resistance is $10,400, while the lower support is around $9,600. Operational aspects, continue to attract funds on the low side, fall below the $9400 recommended stop loss exit.

BOJ Kuroda Urges Global Cooperation In Regulating Facebook’s Libra Haruhiko Kuroda, Governor of Bank of Japan (BOJ) said on Sept 24 that international cooperation was crucial in regulating stable coins such as Facebook’s planned Libra digital currency. “If Libra is introduced, it could have a huge impact on society,” Kuroda told business leaders in Osaka, western Japan, adding that policymakers must thus ensure that they apply the highest level of regulation to such stable coins.
Governor Of PBoC: CBDC Not Necessarily Uses Blockchain Technology, No Timetable Scheduled Yet While China is accelerating the development in digital payments, Governor of the People’s Bank of China (PBoC), YI Gang, clarified that although the research team of the central bank backed digital currency (CBDC) is taking blockchain, digital payments, and a range of frontier technologies into consideration, it is uncertain which one or ones will be used at last. Besides, the central bank has never preset a technical route for the CBDC, nor has it made any decisions on a precise timetable for the launch of the CBDC. YI Gang made the remark today on Sept 24 at the press conference for celebration of the 70th anniversary of the People’s Republic of China. The press conference focused on the latest ideas to foster a healthy, stable, and sustainable economy in the country. He added that the introduction of CBDC won’t change the current issuance or distribution of currencies. “The goal of the CBDC is to replace part of M0 (money in circulation), not M1 or M2,” he said. The Governor addressed that positive progress has been made in digital currency research. Note: M0 is the total of all physical currency including coinage. M1 money supply includes those monies that are very liquid such as cash, checkable (demand) deposits, and traveler’s checks. M2 money supply is less liquid in nature and includes M1 plus savings and time deposits, certificates of deposits, and money market funds.

BTC completed the downward break of 9890, the key hint of yesterday’s closing, in yesterday’s trading yesterday, and accelerated the downward trend further at night, and achieved the effective arrival of the first support line 9600, which was suggested in yesterday’s closing. Although the price has come out of a certain rebound performance, the actual rebound strength is limited. The forward market still operates in the disadvantaged areas. However, the rebound in early trading seems to be only the technical rebound correction after the first round of decline touches on the clear support position. It is reasonable that the price rebound correction occurs after the serious oversold of short-term indicators is consistent. Therefore, it is not recommended that the current rebound be interpreted excessively as long as the price remains at 98. Running below 90, the short-term downward target of 9400 mentioned in yesterday’s closure is still worth looking forward to. For BTC, the idea of short-term trading follow-up is further simplified. After the first wave of short-term orders landed smoothly, the short-term can continue to use 9890 and 9600 as benchmarks. The price reversal test of 9890 is again frustrated, or it is confirmed that after falling below 9600, a new round of short-term follow-up can be done to catch up with the target of 9400. When 9400 is in place, as long as there is no extreme situation of instantaneous dive breakdown, it is recommended to make profit settlement in time. This position can be used as a reference for strong support of midline level. There is a greater possibility of forming band stop-fall reversal near this area, and it is worth making key observation after it is in place.
